Indigenous Future Leaders

Future Leaders is committed to including Indigenous young people in all Future Leaders activities. Young Indigenous leaders speak at every Forum.

Schools are encouraged to nominate Indigenous students to attend the Future Leaders Forums. There is a young Indigenous leader speaking at every Forum. Future Leaders supports travel for Indigenous students.

Our schools involvement with Future Leaders has been extremely positive to everyone involved. We have been particularly pleased with the personal growth experienced by the students directly involved and also by the wider effect it has had on our students through the leadership and enthusiasm demonstrated by the attendees.

I am writing to thank you very much for sponsoring our students to attend the Future Leaders Forum in Perth. They are both leaders on our Student Representative Council and they have spoken at the meetings about the ideas that were presented at the conference. It has given them some motivation for developing projects for the school as well as their own personal goals.
