Professor Warwick Anderson is CEO of Australia’s National Health and Medical Research Council. His previous appointments include Head of School of Biomedical Sciences at Monash University and Deputy Director of The Baker Institute.

Dr Philip Campbell is the Editor-in- Chief of Nature and the Editor-in- Chief of Nature publications. He is also the founding editor of Physics World. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.

Professor Ingrid Winship is the Research Director of Melbourne Health. She is also concurrently Professor of Clinical Genetics at the University of Melbourne and Head of the Adult Genetics Service at Melbourne Health.

Ms Bernie Hobbs is a multi-award-winning science writer and broadcaster with ABC Science Online. Her background is in medical science and teaching.

 

The Discussion Series aims to bring into focus significant issues for the Australian community, government and business. The Discussions are for a general audience. They also provide young people with opportunities to build on their networks and to interact with outstanding leaders and role models in Australian society.
